As we sheltered from COVID in the safety of our homes, the garbage collectors did not miss a day of work. Rain or shine, on the appointed day of the week, they visited our neighborhoods, hopping on and off their truck, lifting the weight of our trash, and keeping our suburban bubbles clean.
